- S. Solitus: heart is on the left with systemic atrium on the left along with the cardiac apex. Right-sided liver, gall bladder, trilobed lung and IVC, Left: stomach, single spleen, a bilobed lung, and the aorta.
- S. Inversus: reversal of solitus
- S. Ambiguous
- Heterotaxy: symmetry e.g. 2 x Right atrium and no left
- Dextrocardia: Isolated reversal of the heart
